As part of the continued development of our internal tools and processes, we are looking for an:

IT Intern – 80–100%

You will join our team directly and contribute to real IT projects with a direct impact on the company’s operations.

The purpose of this internship is to give you the opportunity to work with a high degree of autonomy on real-world projects while gaining hands-on experience with the IT needs of a fast-growing Swiss SME.

Your Responsibilities

Development & Internal Tools

• Contribute to the development and improvement of our internal tools and applications;
• Develop new features for our digital environment;
• Maintain, optimize and document existing solutions;
• Create tools designed to simplify the day-to-day work of our different teams;
• Connect and integrate different platforms and data sources via APIs.

Automation & Artificial Intelligence

• Identify repetitive tasks that can be automated;
• Develop workflows and automations between our different tools and systems;
• Contribute to the integration of artificial intelligence solutions into our internal processes;
• Develop use cases involving AI models and tools such as ChatGPT;
• Test new technologies that can improve the productivity and quality of our processes;
• Contribute to exploring how AI can transform the operations of an automotive importer.

Data & Systems

• Structure and leverage different internal data sources;
• Contribute to improving data quality and availability;
• Create dashboards, reports and monitoring tools;
• Contribute to the continued development of our database and internal AlMoCa platform;
• Document systems, processes and developments.

IT Support & Infrastructure

• Provide occasional support to employees regarding internal IT tools;
• Assist with the configuration and deployment of new tools;
• Manage and improve our digital environment;
• Contribute to cybersecurity, access rights management and IT best practices within the company.

Your Profile

Above all, we are looking for someone who is curious, independent and passionate about technology, with a genuine interest in understanding how things work and finding solutions.

Education

• Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or an equivalent field;
• Previous personal, academic or professional experience in software development is an advantage;
• We also place significant value on personal projects and the ability to learn independently.

Skills

• Solid foundations in programming and software development;
• Familiarity with technologies such as Python, JavaScript, SQL and REST APIs, or equivalent technologies;
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, LLMs and automation;
• Comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT and other AI solutions;
• Good understanding of cloud environments and collaborative tools;
• Strong general IT skills;
• Good command of English, both written and spoken;
• Knowledge of German is an advantage.

You do not need to master all of these technologies. For us, the ability to learn quickly and find solutions is more important than a long list of technologies on a CV.
